Services

What we offer.

01

CrossFit

Our core offering. Every class is programmed, warmed up, and coached start to finish. Constantly varied functional movement at whatever intensity is right for you today. Every movement scales, every day, so a 22-year-old athlete and a 62-year-old beginner train the same workout side by side. Daily programming is Mayhem Affiliate, written by the team at CrossFit Mayhem and coached here by our staff.

03

Mobility & Recovery

Daily routines built into class to protect range of motion and speed recovery. With a chiropractor on the coaching staff, this is not an afterthought here.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How do I get started?
Book your free first class. Pick a time that suits you, tell us it is your first visit, and a coach will be expecting you. You train the same workout everyone else does, scaled to whatever you can do that day. Afterwards a coach talks you through what training here would look like.
I am completely out of shape. Is CrossFit going to hurt me?
Every workout scales. The weights, the movements, and the volume all adjust to the person doing them. We have members in their sixties and members who had never touched a barbell before walking in. The coach on the floor is watching you specifically.
What makes CrossFit Barbell Republic different from a regular gym?
Coaching. Every class is led by a coach who is actually watching you, and the staff includes a CF-L3, four CF-L2s, and a practicing chiropractor. At a big-box gym you get a key fob and a room full of machines. Here you get a program and somebody who knows your name and your history.
How much does it cost?
That depends on which membership fits you — month-to-month, an annual commitment at our best rate, or a 10-session punch card if you cannot make a regular schedule. A coach walks you through the current rates at your free class so you can pick the one that actually fits.
Do I need to be in shape before I start?
No. That is the single most common reason people put this off, and it is backwards. Come as you are.
Can I drop in while I am traveling?
Yes. Experienced CrossFitters passing through Denison are welcome. Book ahead so a coach knows to expect you.
What should I bring to my first class?
Athletic shoes, comfortable clothes, and water. That is it. We have all the equipment.
Where are you and is there parking?
316 W. Coffin St. in downtown Denison, with parking on site.

Your first class is free.
